Cohort 7, supported by Lisk and the Ethereum Foundation, was a founder-focused program that trained 36 builders in Solidity. It produced 25 MVPs, deployed 250 smart contracts on Ethereum and Lisk, and delivered 200+ hours of training, mentorship, and support across 20 IRL bootcamps.
Web3Clubs launched its Mathematics for Programmable Cryptography Cohort for Web3 Developers Cohort in April 2024, and the program is currently ongoing. The syllabus is designed to take developers from high school-level math to advanced, protocol-relevant concepts. It combines clear, focused modules with guided explanations, real-world applications, and practical assignments. Participants are actively tracking their progress and exploring key areas such as zk-proofs, smart contract optimization, cryptography, low-level EVM programming, and more, preparing them to build and contribute meaningfully in the Web3 space. This Cohort is led by Dr Cyprian Sakwa
The Web3Clubs Exploration Cohort is a deep dive into emerging Web3 narratives and tech. Participants explore the cutting edge of the ecosystem by producing technical reports, data dashboards, MVPs, and theses. With a focus on real-time trends, the cohort combines Web3 trends & narratives exploration, data analysis, and communication skills, challenging builders to stay sharp and ship fast, often IRL at the Web3Clubs lab.
The 6-month Rust Development Cohort, which began on April 25, brought together passionate builders to gain deep expertise in Rust for real-world Web3 and blockchain applications. Delivered through online sessions and IRL bootcamps at the Web3Clubs Campus, participants received hands-on training, mentorship, and contributed to impactful ecosystem projects.
In this ongoing cohort, developers are learning to build in Cairo 2 for deploying contracts on Starknet. Our developers are learning through hacking the Cairo and StarkNet docs. 8 developers have been spotted by StarkNet and have been incentivised by StarkeNet and have received grants of USD2500. Our most successful cohort yet in terms of feedback from a blockchain protocol.
In this cohort developers learned to build and deploy on the ethereum blockchain coding in solidity. Students deployed projects on ethereum and we graduated 15 developers. Ethereum Cohort callout
This was our first cohort, we shortlisted and trained 50 developers from a developer pool of 100 developers, recruited from Kisumu, Mombasa and Nairobi. We graduated 30 certified NEAR developers coding in the RUST language. Graduation photos
